6th Circle Gatorpoles
The 6th Circle is an ongoing gacha-style project I created on the virtual pet website Flight Rising's forums, wherein forum-goers send in-game currency to have an Alligator - Tadpole hybrid (gatorpole) randomly generated from a pool of existing patterns, body parts and colors to make a unique entity for the player.
All parts of the gacha are created and maintained by myself, including the storefront's narrative, the hand drawn assets and graphics, the generation of the gatorpoles, and a tracker spreadsheet where players can input the link to the PNG of their gatorpole, and it will calculate all the randomly-generated parts of the gatorpole's design.
How does it work?
First, a player will submit an order to me via Flight Rising's personal message system. This order includes the premade order form to be filled out with the appropriate currency and desired number of entities to be generated.
Second, I will begin the process of generating their desired number of gatorpoles. This includes assigning each generatable piece a number, and randomly generating within each group.
Third, I will put together and color each asset according to their generated numbers in the software used to hand draw the assets.
Finally, I will resize the finished products and reply to their order with a little bit of narrative and attach their generated gatorpoles. The image address can then be plugged in to the provided tracker spreadsheet if players wish to have a place to consolidate their gatorpoles.

There have been over 100 unique gatorpoles generated and new ones drawn up for site-wide events. These are just a few of the randomly generated ones that have been sent out to players.
Despite all the work done toward improving my drawing and design skills, the most enjoyable part has been crafting a narrative and developing the character of two-headed Hegemone and her much more collected mate Agdistis, who poses as the in-game creator of the Gatorpoles, and constantly experiments with them to make new variations and designs.
